Beautiful Again
Feb 6-9
directed by Travis Gray & asst. Trevor Vance

Synopsis (adapted from Marianne Combs, Minnesota Public Radio): In Beautiful Again, husband and father Jack Kuzo is a struggling condiment salesman. Things look up when his hairdresser changes his hairstyle to make him “beautiful again.” Each time she coiffes him a new look, his condiment sales surge. Soon he’s dependent on the hairdresser and neglects his family. Jack’s wife Katie gets angry with his newfound obsession, and Jack and Katie’s marriage deteriorates. Their daughter, Lou, searches for meaning and solace in things like taxidermy and Ouija boards. Lou’s communing with the spirits parallels her parents’ fighting, which also haunts her.
